1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Zengara, LLC, doing business as DANET Hub ("DANET Hub," "we," "us"), Issaquah, Washington 98027, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use danethub.com and related services (the "Platform"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in our Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").

2. Our Role and the Role of Other Members

DANET Hub is a marketplace. Buyers pay Sellers directly, and we do not receive or process payments for Transactions between Members. When you buy from a Seller, contact a service provider, or apply to a Job Posting, the information needed to complete that interaction goes to that Member. That Member is independently responsible for how it uses your information, under its own privacy practices. This Policy does not cover what other Members do with your information. Our Seller Standards limit how Sellers may use Buyer information (Seller Standards Part 10).

Please do not include sensitive information, such as health, financial account or government ID details, in Listings, Reviews or messages unless a Transaction requires it.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • (a) create and manage Accounts, Membership Plans and Paid Listings;

  • (b) operate the Platform, including showing Listings, passing orders and messages between Members, and providing order pages and notifications;

  • (c) verify Sellers and meet our legal obligations, including the INFORM Consumers Act, tax, and responses to lawful requests;

  • (d) help resolve disputes and returns under Terms § 12;

  • (e) moderate User Content and Reviews under our published criteria;

  • (f) detect, prevent and investigate fraud, scams, off-Platform payment schemes, security incidents, and violations of the Terms;

  • (g) provide customer support;

  • (h) bill Membership and other Platform Fees;

  • (i) analyze and improve the Platform;

  • (j) send service messages and, where permitted, marketing (Section 7);

  • (k) enforce our agreements and protect our rights and the rights and safety of others.

We will not use personal information for purposes materially different from those described here without giving notice and, where the law requires, getting your consent.

5. How We Disclose Information

  • Other members: Information needed to complete the interaction you start. A Seller receives your name, shipping address, contact details and order details. An employer receives your application.

  • The public: Your public profile, Listings, Reviews (with your display name) and Job Postings. For Sellers: the seller name and contact information shown on Listings and order confirmations, and any information the INFORM Consumers Act requires us to disclose to Buyers.

  • Service providers: Hosting, cloud storage, payment processing for Platform Fees, email and text delivery, analytics, identity verification, fraud prevention and customer support tools. They act on our instructions under contracts that limit their use of the information.

  • Advertising and analytics partners: Device and usage information collected through cookies and pixels (Section 6)

  • Legal and safety: Government authorities, courts, or others when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure, or that disclosure is needed to protect anyone's safety or rights or to prevent fraud. This includes responding to subpoenas and to employers' pay-transparency correction requests.

  • Business transfers: A buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to this Policy

  • With your consent: Anyone else, when you direct or consent to it

  • We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined by state privacy laws.

6. Cookies, Analytics and Online Tracking

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in;

  • remember your preferences;

  • secure the Platform;

  • measure usage.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work if you do.

Tracking across other websites: We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through the Platform, except for service providers acting on our behalf.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our Platform does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising for that browser or device, and, if you are signed in, for your Account.

No tracking on health-related pages. We do not place advertising pixels on Listing categories or search results related to health, wellness, medical or personal-care products. We do not use geofencing around health care facilities.

7. Your Choices

  • Account information: you can review and update most Account and profile information in your Account settings.

  • Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. We will still send transaction and Account messages.

  • Text messages: we send marketing texts only with your prior express written consent. Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Cookies: see Section 6.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • (a) confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;

  • (b) correct inaccurate information;

  • (c) delete your information;

  • (d) get a portable copy;

  • (e) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects;

  • (f) limit the use of sensitive personal information.

We will honor requests (a)–(d) from all U.S. users, whether or not a state law requires it [business choice; recommended].

How to submit a request: email support@danethub.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity by matching information in our records, usually by confirming control of your Account email. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with signed permission from you. We may still verify your identity directly.

Timing: we will respond within 45 days. If reasonably necessary, we may extend once by another 45 days and will tell you we are doing so.

Limits: we may keep information when the law requires or permits it. Examples include completing Transactions, tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, and records the INFORM Consumers Act requires us to keep. Deleting your Account does not delete information you have already shared with other Members, or public Reviews where we are legally permitted to keep them in anonymized form.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision within [45] days. We will respond to appeals within 45 days. If you are still unsatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

No discrimination: we will not deny service or charge different prices because you exercised your privacy rights.

9. Consumer Health Data

No tracking on health-related pages. We do not place advertising pixels on Listing categories or search results related to health, wellness, medical or personal-care products. We do not use geofencing around health care facilities.

10. Message Review

To protect Members from fraud, scams, prohibited items and off-Platform payment schemes, and to enforce the Terms, we use automated tools and human review to scan and review messages sent through the Platform. By using Platform messaging, you consent to this review. Do not use Platform messages for communications you want to keep private from DANET Hub.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Policy:

  • Account data: While your Account is active, plus 3 years

  • Transaction, billing and tax records: 5 years

  • Seller verification and INFORM Act records: As long as the law requires

  • Messages: 2 years after the last message in the conversation

  • Job applications: 2 years

  • Device and usage logs: 13 months

  • Fraud and enforcement records: As long as reasonably needed to protect the Platform

When we no longer need information, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely store it until deletion is possible (for example, in backups).

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls and multi-factor authentication for staff. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

13. Children

The Platform is intended only for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Contact us if you believe a child has given us information.

14. Users Outside the United States

The Platform is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

15. Links and Third-Party Services

The Platform may link to websites, checkout pages or services run by Members or other third parties. Their own privacy practices govern them.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email to your Account address, or by a prominent notice on the Platform, at least 30 days before they take effect. Where the law requires, we will ask for your consent.
